Turkey
Turkeys are huge birds that are closely related to pheasants and Guinea fowl. Males have spreading, fan-shaped tails and prominent, fleshy wattles, referred to as a snood, that dangle from the top of the beak and are utilized in mating displays. Wild turkeys can fly, but they prefer to run with a long, straddle gait. They graze on seeds, nuts, berries, grass, foliage, insects and many more while roosting in trees and foraging on the ground.
